I have chosen enriched jobs. As our book states enriched jobs have low social needs and high growth needs. Group jobs is a design where higher social aspects are needed. Also, traditional jobs are for little interaction, but very repetitive work, where not much growth would be happening(Cummings & Worley, 2015).

Self-managed work teams have high social aspects as well as high growth aspects. In a system where they have self-managed work teams, they develop a team that can work well together(Cummings & Worley, 2015). Self-managed teams also require less of supervision. It could be used more at plants because if something happens down on the line, the group can come up with a way to fix the problem themselves rather than wait to see what a supervisor has to say about it (Cummings & Worley, 2015). One thing with this is, if they keep messing up on a product the supervisor may then need to come in and give the “ok” on how to fix the problem. Self-managed work teams have actually scored higher in satisfaction in job satisfaction, growth-needs satisfaction, social-needs satisfaction, and groupsatisfaction compared to traditional jobs (Cummings & Worley, 2015).
